The Dance
At age six I was so close to having my very own pair of ballet slippers. Unfortunately, I was a bit of a talker and not really ready for lessons. So life happens and I never took another dance class. This past winter, as I sat watching The Nutcracker Ballet, I was age six again and full of amazement. The dancers, the costumes, and of course the ballet slippers are so beautiful and evoke strong emotions. I hope to convey these through my paintings.
